A Vision of Good
رؤية الخير, the student-led charity I founded in February 2024. One Ramadan drive became RM70,000+ raised in fourteen months, delivered by hand: water tanks and iftar meals for Kassala in Sudan, flood relief in Sri Lanka, madrasahs, orphanages and refugee families across KL. I built the website too.

The Story
A Vision of Good started in February 2024 as fourteen students and a group chat planning one Ramadan drive: RM4,213 raised, 250 iftar packages, Qurans and rations to madrasas, care packages to orphanages. A phone call that June, a madrasah that could not pay its RM1,040 utilities bill, turned it into something permanent.
The rule from day one: we raise it, we go, we hand it over ourselves. No offices, no salaries, no middlemen. By April 2025 the team had raised RM70,382 in fourteen months. March 2025 alone sent 29 water tanks and 1,450 iftar meals to displaced families in Kassala, Sudan, and packed 400 iftar boxes in KL that ran out with people still queuing.
Sudan Awareness Week in December 2025 became the largest single campaign, RM20,837 across booths, a documentary and a panel, funding 59 monthly food boxes and portable water filtration. The same weeks brought flood relief to Negombo and Kotramulla in Sri Lanka with GoodWill Foundation. The website carries the whole archive, and deliberately publishes the work, not people's worst days.

Milestones
Founded A Vision of Good
Fourteen students, one group chat, one Ramadan: RM4,213 raised, 250 iftar packages, Qurans to madrasas, care packages to orphanages. It never stopped. The rule from day one: we raise it, we go, we hand it over ourselves.
A Vision of Good's biggest month
29 water tanks and 1,450 iftar meals to displaced families in Kassala, Sudan. 400 iftar boxes packed in KL with Taylor's MSA and the Monash Islamic Society, and we ran out with people still queuing.
A Vision of Good website
Built the charity's site with React and Tailwind, deployed on Vercel. Same month: a day at the Sungai Pinang orphanage built around presence rather than delivery.
Sudan Awareness Week + Sri Lanka floods
The largest single campaign yet: RM20,837 across a week of booths, a documentary and a panel, funding 59 monthly food boxes and portable water filtration. In the same weeks, flood relief in Negombo and Kotramulla, Sri Lanka with GoodWill Foundation.
